I LOVE traveling. It seems a lot of people say that, but then again who wouldn't like going to new places, getting away from everyday life, doing new things and meeting new people. There's nothing else like it.
Every summer and winter, I go on vacations with my family, all nine of us. We usually drive everywhere, considering how much money nine plane tickets would cost. In summer 1999, we drove all the way to Colorado and back. It was pretty crazy, especially in a car with five kids and an 8-month pregnant mom. We took a plane once to go to Mexico and Las Vegas, which ended with my mom having a panic attack on the plane. So we stick to the car.

I saved some money, planned some things, did some major convincing of my parents and went to Europe for two months. It. was. Amazing.
I took this trip with my boyfriend, Rhys, who is originally from Wales but studies at UF. He went home to Cardiff early May and I met him there two weeks later. We spent about a month in Wales before venturing out to the rest of Europe. In all, we visited nine countries. Of my 20 summers, this was by far the best one.
