Travels
I love to travel. Although I have never been overseas, I have a long list of places I must visit before my life is over. I have always had an interest in Greece and can't wait to visit there. I also love the history involved in Vatican City and would love to see the beauty of it up close. I would also love to see Ireland and Paris. I have thought about taking a year off to backpack across Europe. I know it would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience before the reality of life hits me!
Most of my traveling experiences are within the contintental United States. I have been to Texas, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and New York. Most of these were to visit family or sight-see. I have also been to the Bahamas.
My favorite trip I ever took was to New York. The city lights and energy just sweep you up and you get totally lost in the excitement of it all. My brother and I went for a high school graduation present from our parents. I remember sitting at the window at 2 a.m. watching the crowds of people below, completely stunned. I finally understood why it was referred to as the city that never sleeps! We saw The Lion King and The Producers on broadway, and I immediately fell in love with it. My boyfriend and I are taking a trip in December, and I can't wait!
