Though we’re scattered throughout the continents, my family is originally from Venezuela. Six years ago, we were all (for the most part) still in Miami—my mom, dad, sister and brother.

My sister still lives in Miami, and she’s the one I come home to. Sofia received her degree in political science from FIU, and will soon be wasting away in law school (just kidding Sof). My brother, Roko, is vice-president of my dad’s company, and he manages it from the office in Miami. He lives in Miami Beach with my sister-in-law, my 16-year-old nephew, and my two gorgeous nieces.

My dad, Richard, is CEO of Produ, a publishing group that provides information to the Spanish-speaking entertainment industry. He’s never in one place for more than a few weeks at a time. Recently, he’s been spending most of his time in Bogotá, Colombia and Mexico City, Mexico.

My mom, Graciela, is the furthest away in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany. Like me, she loves to travel and has been doing that a whole lot this year. When she’s in Germany, she tutors English.
