Kristen Huff

I'm Kristen Huff, and I am a journalism student in the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida.

I spend most of my time toting my rather large, pink backpack around campus and struggling to peddle my one-speed bike up slight inclines. It's actually quite a sight.

I've had a lot of memorable experiences while at UF.

I had a stint on the crew team as a coxswain for one semester freshman year. I was a university desk staff writer for the Independent Florida Alligator, the student-run publication. I spent one summer working as an editorial intern for INsite Magazine and another as a marketing and public relations intern for Shands Healthcare. I've hugged Bernie Machen. I almost ran over Tim Tebow with my car when he stopped short at a light on his scooter. And I've run down University Avenue in my underwear. Twice.
