My hobbies are hard for me to define. I mostly enjoy going out, hanging out with my friends and, every girl’s favorite, shopping.

Outside of the ordinary, I would say my main hobby is photography. I haven’t taken any classes on the subject (yet). I enjoy just picking up my camera and photographing whatever happens to be in my yard. I mostly enjoy taking photos of things from nature, like the caterpillars that feed on the milkweed in my yard. I also have tons of photos of various plants and flowers from my trips into the great outdoors.

Travel photography is another main focus of mine. Whenever I travel, I love documenting my trip. I try to avoid taking generic travel photos, instead I like to use walls, plants, arches, etc. to frame my shot.

Besides photography, my other hobby is learning. Yes, learning. I enjoy finding out how thing are interconnected, like how what I learn in my urban planning class relates to international relations. The idea that everything overlaps, shares and draws with/from other topics truly fascinates me.
