Blogs I Read

I read more than 20 blogs in Google Reader. Here are a select few that show my varying interests.

Design*Sponge

This blog focuses on various aspects of interior design. They often feature redesigned interiors, renovation techniques, craft projects, recipes, and guides to cities around the world.

Lifehacker

This is the first blog I really spent time reading. It features tech news, reviews, and "life hacks", which are modifications to everyday processes and objects. Using them takes a DIY approach to life. I don't read it quite as much any more because I don't find its content as useful, but I'm also less into the bleeding edge of technology.

Bitten

This is a blog by New York Times columnist Mark Bittman. He covers food related issues on every level: from whether or not organic products matter to his at-home creations. Less about recipes than food issues, it's my way of staying connected to a world I'm slowly trying to join.
