About Me:

My name is Bethany Harrell, and I am a Telecommunications- Production major at the University of Florida. I currently staff for Cheerleading Technique Camps and American Championships where I travel all over the United States instructing cheer camps or working in the warm up room at cheer competitions. In my spare time I volunteer at WUFT, where I have learned to run: prompter, cameras 1-3, VTR, Floor Manage, and build fonts. In the Spring of 2009 I interned with Varsity TV. I got to see the in's and out's of capturing a video, editing it and then uploading it to Varsity TV. I am really interested in the new media field involving: the Internet, mobile devices, blogs and podcasting. I hope to be on Varsity TV's staff upon graduating from the UF.
