I've got several hobbies, but the ones that I care about the most all have to do with sports.
Like I mentioned on the Welcome page, I aspire to go into a career of sports journalism. Because of that, my biggest hobby has become blogging. Well, sports blogging, to be exact.
For a year now, I have been writing my own sports blog, Fourth and Fail, where I write my opinion on various issues in today's sports scene.
Many of the posts have a serious and introspective tone to them, but I also like to have some fun with posts, too. Recently, I added two staff writers to my blog to help increase content and bring in different editorial voices and points of view. It also allows me to gain experience in editing the work of people besides myself.
This September, I also began contributing at another site, College Game Balls, which is a blog dedicated to college football. Needless to say, all of my pieces on that site revolve around the college football world.
Blogging isn't my only hobby, though. I also enjoy playing sports. In high school, I played four years of varsity basketball. I also enjoy playing football, baseball, golf and ultimate Frisbee (which I have an intramural team for with several of my friends).
Other than sports, I really enjoy music; any type of music, for the most part. Mostly, I love hip-hop and classic rock. I know a lot of songs, in fact, I know so many songs that some of my friends refer to me as a human juke box. I also enjoy movies, especially comedies.
Aside from those things, I'm just a regular college student. I enjoy hanging out with friends, partying and having a good time.
