As a Journalism major at the University of Florida, I had to find some way to incorporate fashion into the dry world of news. I am fortunate enough to have the position as fashion columnist for The Avenue, the weekly entertainment section of The Alligator, the largest student-run publication in the country. I also contribute to INsite magazine's blog by updating the "Look of the Day" section. The "LOTD" is a new style blog that features stylish students in an interactive way. It gives people a chance to have their picture, outfit and quotes published on the Internet.
Writing for each publication gives me the excuse to meet many different kinds of people, speak with them about fashion-related topics and then tell Gainesville their story.
