Erica Ervin

Erica Ervin I am a senior at the University of Florida. I am majoring in journalism with a minor in business administration. After graduation I would like to work in the newspaper or magazine industry specializing in visual journalism or design. My dream publications include National Geographic and the Hartford Courant in Connecticut.

When I am not working on projects for class or work, I provide freelance work as a photograher and designer in the Jacksonville and Gainesville areas. I enjoy learning new design programs, and experimenting with new technology. I try to stay as up-to-date as possible on emerging technologies, software, hardware and tools used for digital and visual journalism. After fine-tuning current skills and learning new techniques, I would like to start a creative firm specializing in brand development and marketing. I would like to offer photography, video and graphic design services to current and up-and-coming businesses. Here is a sample of my design skills.
