I was born in Gainesville, Florida. I wish I played a lot more golf but instead I am content as a full-time graduate student at The Unversity of Florida. We have perfect weather here and I am a pretty competent student so life is good.

After graduating from Gainesville High School in 1997, I left for Harvard College in Cambridge, Massachusetts. There I played golf on the Varsity Golf Team and studied English and American Literature and Language. I also acted in On Thin Ice, Harvard's oldest and funniest improvisational comedy troupe. I am working with undergraduates to build an alumni web page for former On Thin Ice members so I can keep in touch with funny people of yesteryear. Sadly, I am no longer funny.

My goal is to keep this website simple and not bloviate about my accomplishments. Though I certainly have my own tastes and opinions I find it more important to listen to people and to be a good friend and leader. Like anyone, I have my own shortcomings but I do my best to be frank and to learn from the inevitable mistake. Gosh I sound mature; you should see me in action. I am known to act like a 12 year old. Scary.

On the subject of leadership, I am proud of the guidance of my parents who taught me to be honest and to value achievement. For example, I never would have run for and won the election of Student Body President of my high school were it not for the encouragement of my mother. I never would have pursued playing golf were it not for the passion of my father.

My parents have been married for nearly 40 years, quite an accomplishment. I am the youngest of three children. I have two sisters, Stephanie and Debi. Stephanie is married, lives in Atlanta and has three children including twins (seen below with Uncle Tim). Debi is married, lives in Tampa and is an attorney. She has a baby on the way. As for me, I am a "boomerang child" having gone out into the world for a decade only to return to where I started. Where I will throw myself next is anyone's guess. I have done so many varied things that my resume makes no sense to employers or to myself. I seem to forever be a dabbler. I think I might need a woman or family to reign me in.

Enjoy my simple web page. I am a 30 year-old from the 8-bit Nintendo generation so creating this was a big deal for me. It was a lot of fun learning some basic html and making it from scratch.
