Where has Ben worked?

I started my work career in the fast food industry at the age of 16, specifically at a McDonald's restaraunt. The one benefit of me working there was that it inspired me to work hard in school so that I could go to college and not end up working in fast food ever again. I also worked at other part-time jobs when I was in high school, cleaning movie theaters, bussing tables, etc.

While I attended Saint Leo University I had a job working as a Student Technology Assistant. My job involved me helping and teaching faculty members software applications such as Powerpoint and Frontpage. I held this position until I graduated from Saint Leo.

My co-workers and I at Little Brothers

After I graduated from Saint Leo, I joined the Jesuit Volunteer Corp. The Jesuit Volunteer Corp is a one year volunteer program, similar to the Peace Corp, but with an emphasis on the teachings of the Catholic Church. My job placement was at Little Brothers, an organization that dedicates itself towards providing companionship to isolated seniors in the Chicago area.
