Though Prof. Foley says that people do not "love to write, they love to have written," I don't buy it. But perhaps I'm one of those anal-retentive types who enjoys polishing his work.Writing is more about revision than the first draft - crafting and trimming and shaping until your prose or poetry approaches perfection - and don't let anyone tell you differently.
Reading
To write, you must read everything. Buy me a book and I will love you forever.
Gourmandizing
I also love cooking and exploring new foods. I could eat Italian cuisine three days a week. Other contenders include Japanese and Thai food, though I prefer noodles to rice. Nothing, however, beats a grilled sandwich.Buy me cheese and I will also love you forever.
