The Basics...

Me at the University of Florida in Weimer Hall

Thanks for stopping by! I feel I should mention a few key things about myself:

I was born in Titusville, Fla., in 1986. I graduated from Astronaut High School in 2005 and received my A.A. Degree from Brevard Community College in 2006. Now, as a 22-year-old journalism student at the University of Florida, I have more school spirit than ever before. I'm not really sure where my life is heading right now, but I'm excited to find out.

My Faith

As I mentioned before, I am a strong Christian. I believe God helps me through every problem I have, and without Him I wouldn't be here today. It's hard to hold onto my religious practices while here at UF. My husband, Steven, and I have been looking for the right church for a long time now, but we haven't been able to find it. I hope we will get everything settled soon.

My Life in Gainesville

I have lived in Gainesville, Fla., for more than a year. Although it took me awhile to adjust, I really love it here now. Not only do I get to attend the best university in the world, I have Steven and several friends here to support me and keep me sane.

I love being a student at the University of Florida.
