My name is Leora Arnowitz

I was born in Jerusalem, Israel
I am a third-year journalism student at the University of Florida
(Go Gators!)
I am a writer for the Independent Florida Alligator
I teach at a Hebrew school on the weekends
This past summer, I did a reporting internship at the Miami Herald, in which I covered local news as well as breaking news stories
I am currently working towards a business concentration along with my journalism degree
I plan to study abroad in Spain this upcoming spring
In Spain, I hope to get involved with a local newspaper and do some writing
In high school, I was the newspaper editor, a yearbook editor and a magazine editor
In my spare time, I like to paint and draw
