General

I have many hobbies but the ones that I try to do as often as possible are writing, painting or drawing, photography and reading.

I have recently started collecting nick-nacks from the flea market or garage sales. I have already picked up an ancient typewriter and camera.

My Dogs

I have two dogs that have become more like family members than pets. Their names are Trista, a hound/shepherd mix, and Gizmo, a chihuahua mix.

Gizmo has a chocolate and white colored coat with different colored whiskers. I just adopted him from the Helping Hands Rescue when he was two months old. I can't quite remember the exact date, but I am pretty sure I adopted him in May of 2009. He is now almost five months. He only weighs a little over 5 pounds and seems to have peaked there. Unfortunately I haven't been able to completely potty break him, but hopefully that will happen with age as well.

Trista is mostly blonde with one white spot on her neck. She is the first dog I ever adopted. I adopted her August of 2006 when she was two months old, from Gainesville Pet Rescue. She is now over three years old. I hate to play favorites, but I always hold her high over Gizmo because she is much better behaved. A couple years ago I took her to training lessons with J and K Canine Academy. Before this training company I had put her through another training camp, but it failed to have any affect on her. I highly recommend J and K Canine Academy.
