A taste of Belize

The best place I have ever traveled is Belize City, Belize. I traveled there on a cruise during Spring Break of 2008. Belize was only the second country outside of the United States that I had ever been to, and I fell in love with it as soon as I got there. Even the most impoverished areas of the country are beautiful in their own way. The lifestyle in Belize is very different than that of America. Everyone walked around town rather than driving, and school children could be seen everywhere walking hand-in-hand. One thing was similar to America, though. Political signs were posted everywhere. No matter how poor or underpriveleged the people were, there was a general exuberance of happiness throughout the town. The scenery was pure, and I wish I could have spent more than only one day there. Here are some exciting things to do in Belize if you go.
