The U.S. Virgin Islands
My favorite place to visit would have to be the U.S. Virgin Islands. The first trip that I took was to visit my dad who was working in St. Croix when I was just 3. Although I was very little I still have memories of Easter egg hunting on the beach and boating around.
In total I have been to the U.S.V.I. four times and have visited all three islands, St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix. The beaches are absolutely breathtaking and the pace is laid-back.
Some of my favorite things to do are:
- Snorkeling
- Boating
- Relaxing on Trunk Bay, Magens Bay or Cinnamon Bay
- Shopping in Charlotte Amalie and Cruz Bay
- Exploring the ruins of the Annaberg Sugar Plantation
- Enjoying a meal at Miss Lucy's or a drink on the balcony at the Quiet Mon Pub
