Rincón, 413 Road to Happiness
Rincón's major road, 413, has a slogan. It's known to locals and visitors alike as "The Road to Happiness," and for obvious reasons. The road takes you winding through verdant hills and down along the Rincón's gorgeous coast line. It's the road that leads you to all the things that Rincón has to offer. Below is a list of fun things to do and places to check out while in Rincón.
- TAINO DIVERS is a great place to rent snorkel and scuba equipment. They offer boat charters out to the best reefs in Rincón, and the owners and instructors are fun and friendly! They make sure everyone has a memorable time.
- TAMBOO is a local bar that's definitely worth checking out. Located right on Sandy Beach, it's a great place to grab a rum punch while spending time on the beach or take cover when the afternoon storms roll in. Tamboo always has a fun night crowd, especially during the winter when the pro surfers are in town.
- LOCAL SURF SPOTS Even if you're not into surfing, you will be amazed by the size of the waves and the talent of the riders. On a big day, go down to Tres Palmas and watch the pros battle for waves, or go down to Sandy Beach and try out surfing for yourself!
- NATURAL HIGH CAFE A Delicious organic cafe and juice bar. All the food is fresh and local. Plus my friend Emily works there, so go on in and see her lovely face!
- CALYPSO CAFE Probably one of the best hangouts in town. Located right on Maria's beach, it's a perfect place for some food and drink after hanging out on the beach or surfing. They have daily drink specials, amazing sunsets views, great crowds, and a relaxed atomosphere. It's outside, so no need for shoes.
